The 30th of October will forever be a solemn day for the people of Boston. It was the day we lost our most beloved Mayor, Thomas M. Menino. After serving five consecutive terms for a total of 20 years, at age 71, Boston’s longest serving Mayor lost his battle to cancer. On this special edition of Centro “Remembering the Mayor of the People”, WBZ’s Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with Tony Barros, Mayor Menino’s Former Assistant and Special Liaison to the Latino community for more than 13 years.
